CREATE A NEW COLORADO VVA CHAPTER
There are currently three VVA Chapters in Colorado, two in the Denver area and one in Colorado Springs. Starting a new Chapter is not a difficult process, and the State Council is here to help you each step of the way. Interested? Here are the minimum requirements to start a Chapter.
1. A minimum of 15 signatures to petition to chapter
2. Copies of each individual’s DD214
3. Completed membership/transfer applications for each person
4. List of interim Officers and Board members
5. Compliance with VVA National’s Constitution and State Council By-Laws
6. Register with the Colorado State Secretary’s Office
Starting new Chapters get financial support from the State Council. The State Council will also provide support during this process to “charter.”
